Hybrid Investment Approach
We view investment portfolios as having two parts:
- A core, strategic piece with a longer-term view, and
- A smaller portion that is more tactical, with a shorter-term view of the markets.
From a strategic perspective, we analyze investment performance over a series of rolling multi-year periods of results in order to gauge what is, in our minds, the most important factor: historical consistency.
On the tactical side, we rely on a combination of Stifel Research overlaid with sophisticated technical analysis to put forth recommendations that complement the larger, core piece of the portfolio.
